General Terms and conditions

You must have a valid national ID and a WE mobile line registered under your name.
Maximum number for each national ID is 3 wallets on 3 mobile lines.
Maximum limit for the wallet balance: 200,000 LE.
In case the line is lost or stolen, you can suspend the service by calling 565 or visiting any of WE stores.

WE Pay services

International Remittance

International Remittance Service is now available on WE Pay Wallet. You can receive money instantly from abroad outside Egypt to your WE Pay wallet.

Money Remittance steps:

The sender visits the nearest international money transfer service providers abroad that provide money transfer to wallets.
The sender provides the agent with the recipient’s WE Pay wallet number.
WE Pay customer will receive the money on the wallet in Egypt instantly.

Terms and conditions:

WE Pay customer receives the money on the wallet instantly.
International money remittance on WE Pay wallet is available through international money transfer service providers around the world.
The wallet must be active to receive the money.
The amount will be added on WE Pay wallet in EGP currency.
No service Fees.

How to charge your NFC electricity card through WE Pay:
1. Log in to your WE Pay account (enter your mobile number and pin).
2. Select “Pay Bills” from home screen.
3. Select “Electricity Bills” from “Pay Bills” screen.
4. Select “Recharge Electricity” from service payment.
5. Select your electricity company.
6. Press continue.
7. You must enable the NFC feature and read the NFC instructions well.
8. Put the NFC card behind the mobile, and wait until processing is over.
9. Recharge details data will be displayed.
10. Confirm the minimum recharge amount (10 LE ) or select “Enter other amount” ,enter the amount to be charged then click continue ( Recharge allowed range is from 10 LE to 3,000 LE )
11. You will be asked to enter the pin again for confirmation.
12. You will be asked to put the card behind the mobile to be recharged.
13. Upon the transaction, an approval receipt message appears.
NFC Recharge instructions:
1. Make sure that your electricity card supports NFC feature. In case it doesn’t, you have to replace the card from your electricity company.
2. Make sure that your mobile battery is more than 10%.
3. You must not move your electricity smart card unless you hear a beep sound. The application will ask you to release the card.
4. Closing WE Pay app while recharging may cause smart card damage.
5. You have to put your smart card behind your mobile and not move the card until you hear a beep a sound.
6. This service is available for Android users only

Wallet Limits

A-Existing Wallets

Maximum limit for Daily transactions: EGP 60,000.
Maximum limit for Monthly transactions: EGP 200,000.

B-New wallets created (from 6th of May 2025)

Maximum limit for Daily transactions: EGP 10,000.
Maximum limit for Monthly transactions: EGP 60,000.
- After 90 days from the subscription date, the wallet’s daily and monthly limits will be updated to match the limits of existing wallets.
- To keep your wallet active, you need to use it for financial transactions, especially debit transactions (like sending money or paying bills,)
  or make and receive voice calls within the first 90 days.
- For the first 90 days, you can only use the wallet on the same mobile device you used to subscribe. If you need to change your device,
  please visit the nearest WE branch to update your information.

What is the legal age to open/subscribe to WE Pay?
You can open/subscribe to WE Pay upon reaching the age of 15 years.

How can I change WE Pay wallet password / pin?
- After opening the app, choose "Change Pin-M" from “settings”.
- Enter the current PIN.
- Enter the new pin number (twice for confirm).

- Visit the nearest WE branch.
- Open your WE Pay wallet using your mobile number and password.
- Select "Cash in Store/ Fawry".
- Create a password on the wallet.
- Provide the password to the service representative to complete the transaction.
- After verifying the number in the service system, Give the service representative the amount to be deposited, then the amount will appear in the balance of your wallet.

How can I deposit / cash in money in ATMs using WE Pay wallet?
- Visit to the nearest ATM.
- Open WE Pay app using mobile number and password.
- Choose “cash in/out ATM”.
- Press” Get OTP”
- Enter the amount.
- On ATM, choose “services without a card” and choose “Cash in”.
- Enter the wallet number (mobile phone)
- Enter the received OTP from We Pay app.
- Enter the password.
- Enter the amount on ATM.

How can I withdraw/ cash out money in WE branches using WE Pay wallet?
- Visit the nearest WE branch.
- Enter the wallet number (mobile phone).
- Choose “cash out-store” on WE Pay
- Enter the employee code, then press “continue”.
- Enter The amount value.
- Re-enter the password.
- Inform the employee of the reference number that will appear to you in the receipt.
- After confirming the reference number on the service system, the employee delivers you the amount, and the value is deducted on the customer’s wallet.
- Receive a receipt for the transaction success.

How can I transfer money through WE Pay wallet?
- Open your WE Pay wallet using your mobile number and password.
- Select "Money Transfer" service from the home page.
- Enter the Receiver’s number and the amount to be sent, then press Continue.
- Review the transfer process, then click Confirm.
- Enter the password.
- Click on Accept or Decline to send a text message to the addressee.
- In case that the Receiver’s number and password are correct, and the wallet balance is sufficient for the transfer, the process will be completed successfully.

How can I confirm money transfer via WE Pay Wallet?
You can send a message to confirm money transfer: (SMS - WhatsApp).
